Kyogre, Groudon, and Giratina Promos Launch With Delta Reign

Three new gift-with-purchase promo cards are coming alongside Mega Evolution: Delta Reign. Starting November 6, 2026, the same day the set releases, spending $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at participating retailers gets you one of three promos: Kyogre, Groudon, or Giratina.

The offer runs in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, and it works both in-store and online. All three cards carry the Pokémon 30 “What’s Your Favorite?” logo, the same stamp used on the Mewtwo gift-with-purchase promo that started rolling out in October. The offer only lasts while supplies last.

Which card comes from which store

Each legendary is tied to specific retailers, so where you shop decides which promo you get:

• Kyogre: available in the U.S. from Macy’s, Five Below, Barnes & Noble, and Hot Topic
• Groudon: GameStop (U.S.) and EB Games (Canada and Australia)
• Giratina: Best Buy (U.S.) and Toymate / Mr Toys (Australia)

If you want all three, you’ll need at least three separate $15 purchases across different chains. Delta Reign products hit shelves the same day.

Kyogre (026/103)

Kyogre is a Basic Water type with 150 HP, illustrated by Anderson. Waterfall does a flat 40 for a Water and a Colorless. The second attack, Brutal Whirlpool, costs Water, Water, Colorless for 100 damage, and if a Stadium with “Legendary” in its name is in play, it also hits each of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon for 50. That bench spread ties directly into the Legendary Stadium mechanic that Delta Reign introduces, which we first saw with Legendary Pyroduct. It has a Lightning weakness and a three-Energy retreat cost.

Groudon (053/103)

Groudon mirrors its old rival as a Basic Fighting type with 150 HP, this time illustrated by Nisota Niso. Strength does 40 for Fighting and Colorless. Brutal Lands costs Fighting, Fighting, Colorless for 100+, and with a “Legendary” Stadium in play it does 170 more. That puts the ceiling at 270 damage from a non-ex Basic, though the setup is specific. The trade-offs are a Grass weakness and a heavy four-Energy retreat cost. The flavor text keeps the theme going, noting Groudon battled ferociously against Kyogre.

Giratina (045/103)

Giratina is a Basic Psychic type with 130 HP and no Legendary Stadium hook. Instead, Chaos Crawler costs Psychic, Psychic, Colorless for 120 damage and prevents all attack damage done to Giratina during your opponent’s next turn. The catch is that you can’t use it two turns in a row if a Pokémon used it last turn. The toriyufu artwork shows the Origin Forme snaking through a warped void. Giratina has a Darkness weakness, Fighting resistance of -30, and a three-Energy retreat cost.

Timing

Delta Reign lands November 6 with over 135 cards, so the $15 threshold is easy to hit on launch day with a booster bundle or a couple of packs. Our Delta Reign product guide covers everything confirmed for the set if you’re deciding what to buy. Presale product prices are tracked on our Delta Reign set page ahead of release.

And if you’d rather go straight for specific cards once the set is out, you can browse Delta Reign singles and promos instead of chasing packs.
