Target Exclusive Pokémon Jackets and More Drop June 6th

Target is dropping a new wave of exclusive Pokémon merchandise on June 6th at 8AM CT, and the lineup includes some genuinely sharp pieces worth keeping an eye on.

What’s in the Drop

The headline items are the Pokémon Starter Jackets, available in three regional styles:

• Johto Region - tan/gold colorway
• Hoenn Region - red colorway
• Kanto Region - blue, yellow, and red colorway

Alongside the jackets, the drop also includes a Digital Camera and an Adventure Backpack, rounding out what looks like a full lifestyle collection tied to the Pokémon franchise.

Two Waves, Two Dates

There’s an important split here worth knowing before you set your alarm.

Wave 1 - June 6th at 8AM CT: First access to the Johto and Hoenn jacket styles. This wave is online only, with limited quantities and a limit of one unit per item per guest.

Wave 2 - June 7th at 8AM CT: A preorder window opens for all three jacket styles (Johto, Hoenn, and Kanto). Also online only, limited quantities, same one-unit-per-guest rule. Jackets from this wave are scheduled for delivery in December 2026.

If you miss the June 6th drop, the preorder on June 7th is your backup, though you’ll be waiting until the end of the year for delivery.

In-Store vs. Online

The Digital Camera and Adventure Backpack are available both online and in-store as Target exclusives. The jackets, based on the promotional images, appear to be online only for both the June 6th drop and the June 7th preorder.

Worth double-checking availability in your area for the non-jacket items if you’d rather pick them up in person.
