Pokémon Fossil Museum Promo: Exclusive Archeops Card Available at Chicago's Field Museum

The Pokémon Fossil Museum special exhibition has officially opened at the Field Museum in Chicago — and ticket holders are walking out with an exclusive promotional trading card featuring Archeops.

The Promo Card

The card is numbered 051/086 and carries the WHT set symbol, placing it within the wider Pokémon fossil-themed promotional lineup. It’s a Stage 2 Fighting-type Archeops with 140 HP, illustrated by Haru Akosaka.

Here’s what it does:

• Ability — Ancient Wing: Once during your turn, if Archeops is in the Active Spot, you can devolve one of your opponent’s evolved Pokémon by returning the highest Stage Evolution card to their hand
• Rock Throw — 100 damage for one Fighting and one Colorless energy

That Ability is genuinely interesting for competitive play — forced devolution can disrupt Stage 2 setups in a meaningful way. Whether it sees any real tournament use is another question, but it’s not just a pretty promo.

How to Get It

You need a Fossil Museum exhibition ticket at the Field Museum to receive the card. No ticket, no promo — this isn’t a giveaway or online claim. The promotional cards will be available through April 11, 2027, so the window is long, but it’s locked to in-person attendance.
