Pokémon Center Makes Ascended Heroes ETB Restock Invite-Only
The Pokémon Center listing for the Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box now reads Invite-Only, pointing to a restock gated behind email invitations.
An email invitation is now the only way to buy the Ascended Heroes Pokémon Center ETB at retail. Its US Pokémon Center listing has switched to “Invite-Only”, which points to a restock sold through single-use invitation links instead of open add-to-cart.
This box launched at $59.99 and sold out during pre-orders back in February. It has been one of the hardest sealed products to find at retail price ever since, so a controlled restock is genuinely good news for anyone who missed the first wave.
What’s in the Pokémon Center ETB
The Pokémon Center version has more packs than the standard ETB, plus an exclusive promo:
- 11 Ascended Heroes booster packs
- 2 full-art foil N’s Zekrom promos, one of them stamped with the Pokémon Center logo
- The usual ETB accessories: 65 sleeves, 40 Energy cards, damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, a plastic coin, a player’s guide, a TCG Live code, and a storage box with dividers
The stamped N’s Zekrom and the two extra packs (the standard ETB has 9) are why the Pokémon Center edition sells for more on the secondary market.
How the Invite-Only program works
Invite Only is how Pokémon Center keeps bots away from its hottest drops. Some newsletter subscribers receive a single-use link tied to their email address, and only that account can use it.
So the only way into this restock is the Pokémon Center newsletter. Invites go to some subscribers, not all, and stock can sell out before you click. The link won’t work for anyone else, so there’s no point sharing it, and using extra accounts can cost you the invite.
Pokémon has been experimenting with distribution controls all year. Japan went further and added facial recognition at its physical card stores to enforce entry limits. The invite system is the online equivalent: route stock to actual collectors instead of letting bots clear inventory in seconds.
Why this restock matters
Ascended Heroes came out in February 2026 with more than 290 cards, which makes it one of the biggest English sets to date. Its focus is Trainer’s Pokémon and the new Mega Evolution ex cards. The chase cards did serious numbers, led by the Mega Gengar ex Special Illustration Rare at well over $1,000.
That demand drained sealed supply. On TCGPursuit the Pokémon Center box carries a TCGplayer value of $351.99 as of October 7, close to six times its $59.99 retail price and more than double the standard Ascended Heroes ETB at $158.16.
A $59.99 restock is the cheapest way to get this box, about $290 under its current TCGplayer value.
My advice: get on the newsletter today if you aren’t already, use the email address you actually check, and move fast if an invite lands. In the meantime, if you’re chasing specific cards from the set rather than sealed product, you can skip the queue entirely and pick up Ascended Heroes singles directly.
