Pitch Black Store Promos: Primarina, Zarude, and Armarouge
Three Mega Evolution-Pitch Black store promos with 30th Anniversary stamps are coming July 17, 2026, as gift-with-purchase cards in the US and beyond.
Three new store promo cards from Mega Evolution-Pitch Black have been revealed: Primarina, Zarude, and Armarouge. All three carry a 30th Anniversary stamp with the “What’s Your Favorite?” branding instead of the usual store logos or set logo, which makes them cleaner and more collectible than your average retailer exclusive.
The set releases on July 17, 2026, and these cards are gift-with-purchase promos. Spend $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at participating retailers and you’ll get one, both in-store and online, while supplies last.
Where to Get Them
The promos are confirmed for at least the USA, Canada, and Australia / New Zealand. In the US, the Primarina promo is available at Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, and BoxLunch.
There’s no word yet on a European promotion. Promotions have run in Europe before, with the last one being Yveltal, but nothing has been announced for these cards. If you’re in the EU, it’s worth checking with local retailers as details firm up.
Zarude
Zarude is a Basic Dark-type with 130 HP, numbered 056/084. Its Overhead Throw attack does 30 damage plus another 30 to a benched Pokémon, and Shadowy Whip hits for 100+ with a bonus 70 if your benched Pokémon are carrying Shadowy Energy.

Primarina
Primarina is a Stage 2 Water-type with 150 HP, evolving from Brionne, numbered 020/084. Its Enriching Melody ability lets you heal all damage from a Pokémon when you play Primarina from hand to evolve, and Aqua Return shuffles it back into your deck for 120.

Armarouge
Armarouge is a Stage 1 Fire-type with 140 HP, evolving from Charcadet, numbered 012/084. Flame Legion starts at 40 and adds 40 more for each benched Pokémon with Fire Energy attached, so it scales hard in a dedicated Fire deck.

Worth Grabbing
The 30th Anniversary stamp is the real draw here. Store promos usually get slapped with retailer logos that collectors don’t love, so the “What’s Your Favorite?” branding across all three is a nice touch. If you’re buying Pitch Black at launch anyway, hitting the $15 threshold to pull one of these is easy.
There’s also a small breadcrumb worth noting for the future: Nintendo, Creatures, and Game Freak have trademarked “MEGA X MEGA Parade,” which points to more Mega Evolution product down the line.
