Eevee Illustration Rare Revealed for Delta Reign

Delta Reign just got its first officially revealed English chase card, and it’s an Eevee Illustration Rare. The Pokémon Company quietly showed off the card ahead of the set’s November 6, 2026 release, and it’s an early favorite for one of the most hunted pulls in the expansion.

We’ve known the broad strokes of this set for a while, officially announced back in August as the English version of Japan’s Storm Emeralda. Until now, though, English reveals hadn’t included any of the set’s special-rarity cards. This Eevee changes that.

The Card

The art, by Hideki Ishikawa, shows Eevee peeking out of a satchel, packed and ready for a hike. There’s a water bottle, a map with a compass, a sandwich, and a trainer’s hat surrounding it, and Eevee is looking straight up at the viewer like you’re the one taking it on the trip. It’s a warm, personal composition, and pairing that with one of the most collected Pokémon in the entire franchise makes this an obvious chase card.

Gameplay-wise, this is a standard baby Eevee:

• Basic Pokémon, 70 HP
• Nap: Heal 20 damage from this Pokémon
• Headbutt: 10 damage
• Fighting weakness ×2, one Colorless retreat cost

Nobody is buying this card for the attacks. The flavor text is a nice touch too: “Thanks to its unstable genetic makeup, this special Pokémon conceals many different possible evolutions.”

What the Numbering Tells Us

The card is numbered 114/103, which puts it above the main set count. That’s exactly where Illustration Rares live in modern sets, so this Eevee will sit in the secret-rare portion of the Delta Reign checklist rather than the standard numbered run.

One more detail worth flagging: a Japanese version of this same Eevee comes with a Mega Starter Set ex deck. Seeing it appear in the English Delta Reign expansion suggests content from those Japanese starter products is being folded into the fall English release, which would explain how a card like this ends up in the set’s IR slot.

Where It Fits Among Delta Reign Chases

The English reveal side of Delta Reign has been quiet on top rarities until now, but the Japanese side has given us a preview of what’s coming. Leaked images earlier this summer showed a gold Mega Rayquaza ex and several Special Illustration Rares, plus Illustration Rare Groudon and Growlithe from Storm Emeralda.

This Eevee slots into that lineup as the friendly, character-driven chase alongside the big legendary hits. In my experience, cute IRs of universally loved Pokémon hold collector demand long after a set’s meta cards cool off. Eevee cards in particular have a dedicated audience that spans set collectors, Eeveelution collectors, and casual fans, so expect this one to be pulled from binders constantly at trade nights.
