Chasing Glory Together Brings a Brock's Scouting SIR to China

A new China-only set called Pokémon: Chasing Glory Together has been revealed, and its headline card is an exclusive Special Illustration Rare version of Brock’s Scouting. The set releases in China on July 16, 2026.

What’s in the Set

Chasing Glory Together is a compilation set built from cards we’ve already seen in Journey Together and Destined Rivals, both of which launched in the United States in 2024. If you collected either of those, most of the checklist will look familiar.

The pull that matters is the new Brock’s Scouting SIR. The original was a Supporter card from Journey Together, released as an Ultra Rare numbered 179/159. This new version carries the number 276/222 SAR and comes from set code csv10C. It’s illustrated by Atsushi Furusawa.

The art shows Brock sitting on a rocky slope with a steaming mug in hand and a mountain range behind him. It’s a calm, full-art scene that fits the recent run of trainer SIRs collectors have been chasing hard.

The China-Only Catch

Here’s the part that stings for collectors outside China: this set is releasing only in China. That means the Brock’s Scouting SIR can only be pulled locally, and anyone else has to go through secondhand markets to get one.

This isn’t new territory. China has received exclusive compilation sets before, along with exclusive Pokémon GO cards back in 2024. The pattern is consistent: streamlined versions of existing sets with one or two exclusive chase cards bolted on.

The bigger issue is availability. None of the China exclusives released since 2022 have made it into English. If you want this Brock, plan on hunting the secondary market rather than waiting for a Western release.

The booster packs contain 5 cards each (随机封入5张卡牌), and the pack art leans into the Scarlet & Violet era lineup with Mewtwo front and center.

Should You Chase It

If you’re a Brock collector or you like to complete trainer SIR runs, this one is worth watching. China exclusives can climb in price on the secondary market because supply outside the country is limited by definition, so getting in early is usually smarter than waiting.

For everyone else, this is a nice-looking card from a set you’ve mostly already collected. The Journey Together and Destined Rivals cards are all available in English, so the SIR is really the only reason to go out of your way here.
