30th Celebration Product Line Revealed for September 2026

Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration lands September 16, 2026 with an all-foil set, 30 Pikachu rares, a new Futuristic rare tier, and a full product lineup.

30th Celebration Product Line Revealed for September 2026

The Pokémon Company has laid out the full opening product lineup for 30th Celebration, the anniversary set hitting retail on September 16, 2026. This is shaping up to be the biggest release of the year, and the details give collectors plenty to plan around.

Digital players get first crack. Early access opens September 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT through Pokémon TCG Live, which runs on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.

An all-foil set with three big hooks

The headline feature is simple: this is an all-foil set. Every card you pull has holographic engineering, top to bottom. That’s a first for a mainline release of this size.

There are three collecting angles built into the set. First, 30 unique Pikachu rare cards, with at least one guaranteed in every booster pack. They’re illustrated across daytime and nighttime environments, so completing the full run of 30 is going to be a proper chase.

Second, 30 reprinted classic cards returning to the game for the anniversary. Third, a brand-new rarity tier called Futuristic rare, illustrated by Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. If you’ve seen his work, you know the neon, graphic-heavy style is unlike anything else in the TCG.

Elite Trainer Boxes

The standard Elite Trainer Box comes with 9 booster packs, gameplay accessories, and an illustration rare-style promo card featuring Nidorina. That Nidorina promo is a genuinely nice piece, and the alt-art treatment fits the celebration theme well.

There’s also a Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box version that bumps the count up to 11 booster packs. Two extra packs matters on an all-foil set, so if you can get the Pokémon Center version at retail, that’s the one I’d chase.

Smaller collections

A few tighter boxes round out the opening wave:

  • Poster Collection - 3 booster packs, promo cards featuring the Kanto birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres), and one full-size, double-sided poster.
  • Tech Sticker Collection - 3 booster packs, a foil promo card featuring Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, and a sticker sheet.
  • Knock Out Collection - 2 booster packs, a foil Eevee promo card, and a commemorative coin.

The Knock Out Collection is the lean entry point here, and that foil Eevee promo makes it an easy grab for Eeveelution fans.

Pokémon ex Boxes

The Pokémon ex Box gives you 4 booster packs, a promo card, and an oversized card featuring either Sylveon ex or Greninja ex. Two versions, pick your favorite.

What’s coming later in 2026

More products are rolling out through the 2026 holiday calendar. That includes all-foil theme decks led by Espeon ex and Umbreon ex, plus a premium figure collection featuring Mew or Mewtwo.

That Umbreon ex art in particular, with the lantern-lit festival scene and the “30” in fireworks, is one of the standout cards from everything shown so far. Espeon ex with the daytime celebration backdrop pairs with it nicely.

Doug’s take

An all-foil set with 30 Pikachu chase cards and a fresh Futuristic rare tier is exactly the kind of anniversary release that gets both collectors and flippers moving early. My advice: figure out what you actually want to complete before September, because chasing 30 different Pikachu rares out of packs adds up fast.
